Sick Dog and a Ghostly Jiggler

10:17 a.m. Someone was arrested after issuing bad checks throughout the Kalispell area.

10:20 a.m. An abandoned bicycle was found in Whitefish.

11:24 a.m. Authorities left a notice at the home of four loose horses on Highway 2 West.

1:04 p.m. A Concord Lane resident complains that a neighbor leaves their dogs outdoors all day. The dogs do in fact have a dog house and are not subject to cruel treatment.

1:09 p.m. A dog was transported to the clinic by private car after it was struck by a vehicle on Highway 209.

1:56 p.m. A Somers resident claims that a friend came into his house and stole his laptop.

2:27 p.m. Flathead Electric Company and Kalispell Fire Department responded to a burning electrical pole on Ninth Street West. The fire was out in less than fifteen minutes.

2:32 p.m. Someone called for help regarding a sick dog that they were watching for a friend. The caller was advised to take the dog to the vet.

2:37 p.m. A vicious dog attacked and killed a cat on Trumble Creek Road. Authorities could not locate the killer.

6:16 p.m. A power line in Martin City began to smoke when in came in contact with a tree. Flathead Electric Company arrived and dealt with the issue.

8:45 p.m. A border collie with a broken leg was transported to a Lakeside clinic after being hit by a car.

9:10 p.m. Someone in Lakeside called to report that their border collie was missing. It was found at a local clinic with a broken leg.

1:25 a.m. A resident of Poplar Drive reports that someone knocked on the door and jiggled the doorknob. Not only did authorities find no one on the premises, but they also could find no footprints near the door.
