Slide Show: Skimming Skiers and Brave Boarders

2009 Annual Pond Skimming

A record crowd estimated at more than 2,000 people watched as skiers and snowboarders skimmed across a 90-foot pond at Whitefish Mountain Resort. One after another, costume-clad participants braved the 32-degree water in celebration of the end of ski season and the beginning spring.
