7:17 a.m. It was reported that people on West Reserve Drive were driving at least 15 mph under the speed limit.

9:56 a.m. A Kila man whose hound dogs had been loose told an animal warden that enforcing the county ordinance was “a slap in the face toward the Liberty Movement and the Tea Party.”

9:57 a.m. Small children were seen testing the ice near Lawrence Park.

11:06 a.m. A driver on Highway 93 South reported that a woman driving a gold Pontiac looked to be asleep.

11:11 a.m. A Kalispell woman theorized that her car wouldn’t start because her soon-to-be ex-husband put water in her gas tank. Her mechanic said it was more likely bad gas.

12:34 p.m. A Kila woman reported that a black dog was in her yard.

4:10 p.m. Someone reported that a friend borrowed his vehicle and had yet to return it. It was found broken down at a Marion restaurant.

10:50 p.m. A suspicious resident of Farm Road reported that a strange vehicle was parked by the mailboxes.

12:43 a.m. A woman claimed that while giving her friends a ride to Ferndale, they ditched her in Creston and kept driving. She was upset that her now “ex-friends” have the gun she left in the vehicle.

4:13 a.m. There was a scuffle between inmates in the county jail.
