St. Ignatius Man Dies in Interstate 90 Crash
Kenneth Teeple was eastbound in a sport utility vehicle when it drifted off the road
BUTTE — An 81-year-old St. Ignatius man died after a one-vehicle crash on Interstate 90 near Opportunity.

Anaconda-Deer Lodge County Coroner Gerry Thomas tells The Montana Standard that Kenneth Teeple was eastbound in a sport utility vehicle when it drifted off the road just before 9 a.m. Sunday.

The Montana Highway Patrol says the SUV continued along a fence line and then vaulted across Willow Creek, striking a retaining wall.

Teeple was ejected from the SUV and died at the scene.
