Flathead Valley Police Blotter
Stampede
Flathead County Sheriff's and Kalispell Police Reports
Sunday 12/8

12:38 p.m. Someone in Columbia Falls called 911 to report that a man was driving around town drunk. He volunteered for a breath sample and was not, in fact, intoxicated.

1:24 p.m. Kids were seen doing somersaults on the concrete wall of the Hungry Horse Dam. These same boys were also seen driving at excessive speeds through town.

1:25 p.m. A man on Bald Rock Road complained that gunshots caused his cattle to stampede.

3:06 p.m. Mailboxes on Forrest Hill Road were vandalized.

3:44 p.m. A Kila woman complained that a man in a big truck sprayed gravel all over her vehicle, chipping her windshield. She’s pretty sure he did it on purpose.

5:50 p.m. Someone was worried about a disoriented looking man who was stumbling around on Helena Flats Road.

5:47 a.m. A woman on Concord Lane, who has recently accused the girl next door of stealing her cigarette butts, posted a sign on her porch that reads, “There is a thief living next door.” The neighbors are not happy with the accusation.
