Standoff Ends in Somers After Man Fires Up to 100 Rounds
Deputies responded to a report of gunfire just after midnight on Somers Road
A 41-year-old Somers man fired dozens of rounds from multiple weapons during a five-hour standoff with deputies early Saturday morning. Christopher Cassidy was arrested shortly before 6 a.m. and no one was hurt in the incident.

Deputies responded to a report of gunfire just after midnight on Somers Road in Somers and found Cassidy firing rounds from just outside his front door, according to Flathead County Sheriff Chuck Curry.

SWAT arrived at the scene, established a perimeter and attempted to negotiate with the suspect, to no avail. During the standoff, police estimate that Cassidy fired 80 to 100 rounds from both rifles and handguns. Eventually, officers fired tear gas into Cassidy’s home and he was taken into custody.

Inside Cassidy’s home, Curry said deputies seized 86 marijuana plants. Cassidy is jailed at the Flathead County Detention Center and was initially charged with felony criminal endangerment. Drug charges are pending and the investigation is ongoing.

It appears that no neighboring homes were struck by any gunfire.

Hey, the article did not mention if any of these weapons were “assault weapons”?  or - if there were any extended magazines?  It only mentioned the marijuana plants.  what’s with that?  How can the Demo- dummies use this to promote “The Agenda”?
