The Montana Department of Fish, Wildlife and Parks has completed its purchase of a fishing-access site east of Kalispell.
The property along McWenneger Slough is part of a project initiated by the Flathead Land Trust. It developed fishing access and installed a vault toilet. The property then was offered to Fish, Wildlife and Parks for $30,000.
The agency's regional supervisor this week signed documents authorizing the purchase.
