Kalispell News
Wednesday 11/25

5:37 a.m. Two male subjects at a bonfire on Wettington Drive engaged in a verbal altercation. Both were calm when authorities arrived.

11:21 a.m. Someone shot an electrical transformer on Foothill Road.

12:09 p.m. Someone was stuck in an elevator on Four Mile Drive due to a power outage.

2:21 p.m. Reports that a dog is continually tied up with no shelter on Blacktail Road proved unfounded.

2:26 p.m. Someone hurled eggs at a home on Helena Flats Road.

2:44 p.m. A driver on Highway 35 was concerned that a logging truck was going to lose part of its load. Although one long log was sticking out the back, the load was actually secure.

3:05 p.m. All that could be heard of a 911 call was background noise. The voices were not speaking English but possibly Chinese or Japanese. Authorities traced the call to a non-residential area on Highway 2 West.

6:33 p.m. Someone called a resident of Evergreen inquiring about their husband’s credit card. This seemed suspicious, as the couple does not use credit cards.

8:03 p.m. A car that was stolen two days ago was found abandoned on Braig Road. The vehicle had been driven through a ditch and parked on top of a fence.

9:24 p.m. Several kids on Conrad Drive were banging on trailers and causing a general ruckus. They were not doing so intentionally and stopped when asked.

10:36 p.m. A middle-aged man in shorts and socks showed up at a home in Bigfork claiming that he was “the one who helps girls.” He soon realized that he was at the wrong house.

11:22 p.m. Three or four kids, several wearing blanket capes, were rifling through cars on Stag Lane. The vehicles turned out to be their own.

3:40 a.m. A woman in Lakeside called to report that a prowler had been outside her house for about an hour. Authorities couldn’t find any footprints but did notice that tree branches had blown onto the deck.
