Strange Salesmen

7:24 a.m. Numerous items were stolen out of an unlocked vehicle on Tamarack Drive in Kalispell.

8:11 a.m. A Bigfork resident complained of a dog that barks non-stop.

9:48 a.m. Someone called from Somerset Drive concerned about a man in wet clothes who was wandering down the road. Apparently, he had fallen into the river.

11:02 a.m. Gloves, CDs and money were stolen out of an unlocked vehicle on Many Lakes Drive.

12:13 p.m. An abandoned four-wheeler was found frozen into a snowbank on Pleasant Valley Road.

3:00 p.m. Someone saw a the arms of an unrestrained toddler dangling out the window of a car traveling through the Evergreen area.

4:01 p.m. A Bachelor Grade resident reported that a golden doodle and some kind of terrier were in her yard, ominously circling her goat pen.

5:11 p.m. A Somers woman complained about “strange” vacuum salesmen who had been at her house a few hours earlier.

6:41 p.m. A Columbia Falls man claimed that a friend of a friend told him that the man who stole his gate had been arrested. He would like to know how he could go about retrieving his gate.

6:47 p.m. Four puppies went missing during an on-going argument that could only be described as “mass confusion.” The puppies were recovered and those involved are working to resolve the issue.

7:54 p.m. Someone called in to report that a suspicious blue van with taped-up windows was cruising around the Somers area. The driver claimed to be a vacuum salesman.
