Stumptown Players to Hold Auditions

The Stumptown Players theater company is holding open auditions for the upcoming production of “Private Eyes” by Steven Dietz. Auditions for the comedic thriller are on Dec. 17 and 18 at 7 p.m. in the KM Theatre in downtown Kalispell.

Roles are available for three men and two women, or possibly three women and two men, ages 25 to 60. Auditions will be comprised of cold readings from the script and actors of all abilities are encouraged to audition.

Scripts are available at the Whitefish Community Library. Scripts are also available by request by calling (406) 871-6447.

Volunteers are also needed to work backstage, in the box office and as ushers and they are encouraged to attend auditions as well or to call 871-6447.

This fast paced play-within-a-play will be directed by Scarlett Schindler and will run Feb. 13-16 and Feb. 21-23 in the KM Theatre. Rehearsals begin Jan. 7. For more information about Stumptown Players, visit their website at www.stumptownplayers.org.
