7:52 a.m. A truck caught on fire while traveling down West Valley Drive.

8:53 a.m. A woman called in claiming to have lost her mattress and bed frame somewhere on a back road between Columbia Falls and Whitefish.

9:30 a.m. A Whitefish man called in to talk about shooting skunks.

1:58 p.m. A Columbia Falls man reported that he returned home to find a suspicious man from Estonia at his front door asking to speak to parents of high school students.

2:35 p.m. A man called from Evergreen requesting help catching some burglars.

3:06 p.m. According to a Whitefish woman, two magazine salesmen represented themselves poorly.

3:12 p.m. A man reportedly witnessed someone toss two cats out of a vehicle traveling down Highway 40. There was no evidence of deceased or injured cat along the road.

4:12 p.m. An Evergreen man lost his soap box full of cash somewhere near McDonald’s.

4:18 p.m. A Hodgson Road resident was “wary” of the solicitor at his door who wore a shirt proclaiming “I’m sexy and I know it.”

7:30 p.m. A Whitefish woman reported that her dog “destroyed” the neighbor’s chickens. She added that the neighbor was excessively rude about the whole ordeal.

7:51 p.m. Someone was seen driving their little blue Daewoo at excessive speeds down Columbia Avenue in Whitefish.

8:42 p.m. A teenaged boy was seen “surfing” on top of a black Jeep traveling down Capistrano Drive.
