Flathead Valley Police Blotter
Suspiciously Quiet Dogs
Flathead County Sheriff's and Kalispell Police Reports
Wednesday 1/12/2014

8:44 a.m. A woman called in stating that she often sees a woman holding a baby while driving a van down Lake Blaine Road. Additionally, she thinks there is a loose toddler in the back of the van. The caller hopes a deputy will "catch" this woman.

8:44 a.m. A Whitefish resident reported that the neighbors, who are not supposed to take in any more dogs, have recently acquired more dogs.

10:35 a.m. Someone in a blue Honda reportedly made a bad pass on a blind corner.

11:20 a.m. A Kalispell man reported that someone broke into his car and stole a garbage bag full of cigarette butts.

11:05 a.m. A black Lab was seen chasing kids on an Evergreen school playground.

2:47 p.m. A Harmony Court resident reported that the neighbor's dogs never bark and suspected that they were not well taken care of. Although he could not come up with a valid reason for his compaint, he asked that an animal warden check on them anyway. The dogs were found to be in good health and well taken care of.

4:39 p.m. Someone driving down Third Avenue East reported that a woman, or possibly a bearded man, cut him off and made some kind of rude gesture.

8:43 p.m. Someone saw a man walking down Highway 2 West.

12:41 a.m. Numerous mailboxes were dismantled on Adopt A Pet Way.

12:57 a.m. A Hungry Horse resident reported that he was going to arm himself for protection and wait for a deputy to break up the neighbor's party. Apparently, the drunken party goers harassed him when he tried to park his car and afterwards shot fireworks at his house.
