Flathead Valley Police Blotter
Accidental Car Theft
Flathead County Sheriff's and Kalispell Police Reports
Tuesday 9/11

6:34 a.m. A man reported that his car was stolen when he left it running outside an Evergreen gas station. Another man accidentally drove the wrong car home but returned it once he realized his mistake.

8:44 a.m. A man called in to report, on behalf of his son, that his son’s wife had stolen their dog. He would like to know how his son might retrieve his dog.

8:59 a.m. Dogs contained in a kennel on Trumble Creek Road bark nonstop.

10:35 a.m. A Hungry Horse man reported that he was assaulted by his neighbors when he approached them about their badly behaved dogs.

10:53 a.m. Someone called 911 after hearing what may have been a barking dog or possibly a child in pain. A deputy found squealing, happy children playing nearby.

12:22 p.m. A mastiff and a “slightly fuzzy” Rottweiler were seen on Wood Ridge Drive in Columbia Falls.

4:27 p.m. Reportedly, a Columbia Falls man stood in his front yard and shot and injured his dog with a BB gun. Apparently this man and his BB gun are an ongoing problem.

5:17 p.m. A man on Harmony Court called 911 to report that a long-haired boy and a blond girl were making out heavily in front of his house. He would like a deputy to confront them as he was sure they would be “shedding their clothes” soon. He would also like their parents to be notified of their indecencies.

8:17 p.m. Employees of a business on First Avenue East apprehended a large woman with pink hair in the parking lot after a failed attempt at shoplifting.

1:09 a.m. A resident on Kintla Way reported that two men wearing white hats broke into her car. Nothing was missing.

@NPDXReporter I think I'll start strategically calling it "pre-lunch" too, and then "forget" to eat my real lunch later. #dessertforlunch
