The Alternative Energy Scheme
Letter
Obama’s wind energy scheme has been filled with “ill wind” of economic impracticalities, and now “gone with the wind” reports of stimulus funding funneled into overseas wind machine manufacturing plants, providing jobs elsewhere to supply our tax-supported wind energy program. Urgent demands for alternative energy production get more ridiculous as time goes on. Absolutely no aspect of it makes any sense, all based upon the cooked up hoax that we simply must limit carbon dioxide pollution from burning fossil fuels. Furthermore, it is supposedly imperative that we reduce imported oil shipments while severely restricting development of our own oil fields. This is accompanied by the closing down of U.S. coal-fired power generation plants while we export coal to China, historically dependent on coal energy. Wait a minute. Is global warming/climate change REALLY A GLOBAL CONCERN or just a scheme to bankrupt America? Now with EPA Administrator Lisa Jackson declaring both hydro power and biomass generation as non-renewable, the environmentalists are busy at work forcing dam removal, while our fuel overloaded forests burn throughout the country pouring out tons of polluting smoke and ash and, incidentally, non-polluting carbon dioxide.

Why not burn in the safety of modern, pollution controlled biomass power generation plants close to point of use, thus reducing strain on the power grid? How much longer can we use our wood-burning stoves and fireplaces? Are brains functioning anywhere in the federal bureaucratic (unconstitutional) “lawmaking” agencies, or our governmental policy making bodies? Reducing energy supply and availability with corresponding severe price increases assures economic decline and quality of life. Is this the ultimate objective?

Solar energy makes great sense in off-the-grid areas of China, Africa and India where they don’t even have lighting.  Covering the earth in giant solar panels and giant windmills is as bad as anything oil has ever done. Our eco-crazies believe oil should never make…
