The Flathead Beacon’s New Look

By Beacon Staff

You will notice a few small changes on our Web site this morning.

First, we have tweaked our logo (also known as the “flag”), refining the font and making it black. The idea behind the move was to make our name more recognizable, especially on newsstands where it can be difficult to read.

Despite looking a bit different, our Web site functions about the same and has retained its simple format. There are a few additions, however, that I encourage you to check out.

Senior writer Dan Testa is now recording a podcast in which he gives a rundown of the top stories of the week. We have provided links to my and staff writer Molly Priddy’s Twitter pages, and the Flathead Beacon’s Facebook page. You can find these new elements near the bottom of our home page.

As is often the case when you update a Web site, some of the new features are still a work in progress. Please send any feedback my way.

Thanks for reading the Flathead Beacon.
