Layman’s Review: This red wine is a star for the money. The flavor impressed my group of usual merlot drinkers prior to and during dinner. It has a light berry flavor with a medium body and great finish. We felt that it was unpretentious and it would easily pair with just about any dish.
Expert’s Review: This ideal winter “bistro” red smells of ripe cassis and blackberry fruit tinged with resinous herbs and toasted nuts. A rich, silky palate offers flavors of baking chocolate and roasted meats that combine with the enduring and textured finish so characteristic of this stupendous Languedoc vintage.
