The woman injured in a head-on crash that killed a Montana Highway Patrol trooper has died, Flathead County officials said.
Ginger Wilborn, 30, of Hungry Horse, died at 5 p.m. Thursday at Kalispell Regional Medical Center, Sheriff and Coroner Mike Meehan said.
Wilborn suffered major head injuries in a head-on crash Tuesday that killed trooper Evan Schneider, 29, and Roy A. Moore, 42, also of Hungry Horse. Moore was driving the pickup Wilborn was riding in.
Schneider was pursuing a vehicle with his flashing lights on when the pickup crossed the center lane and struck his car head-on, officials have said.
Investigators are looking for the car pictured in Schneider's on-board video camera just before the crash, Undersheriff Pete Wingert said.
Schneider was pursuing a vehicle at the time of the crash, but Wingert said it is unknown if it was the same car seen in the video. Officials have been unable to determine a make, model or license plate number from the grainy footage, but will forward it to the FBI for enhancement.
