Too Many Bunnies and a Strange Red Light

8:16 a.m. A vicious dog on Ardell Drive has become an ongoing problem in the neighborhood. Authorities left an informational door hanger at the home.

8:46 a.m. A resident of Shadow Lane complains that her husband forged her signature to sell a vehicle.

9:24 a.m. Someone on Mennonite Church Road claims that 12-foot flames were erupting from a nearby structure. The blaze turned out to be a brush fire that was behind the structure in question.

9:42 a.m. According to a concerned caller, someone in Evergreen has been hoarding a large number of pet rabbits at their residence. Authorities will be investigating the claim.

9:58 a.m. Someone stole a spotting scope from a local business.

10:55 a.m. An inmate at the Flathead County Juvenile Detention Center chose to write on a table, a practice that is forbidden at the center.

11:42 a.m. A brush fire on Karrow Avenue in Whitefish spread to a neighbor’s field but was soon doused with water.

11:50 a.m. A large Malamute ran at large on Whitefish Stage Road. The pooch was taken to the shelter.

12:01 p.m. Someone noticed a malnourished bulldog puppy in Columbia Falls.

1:28 p.m. The Montana Highway Patrol handled a number of cows that had wandered onto Highway 2.

1:30 p.m. Someone on Highway 93 south wanted to know if she could still press charges on an individual who harassed her between 2003 and 2008.

1:31 p.m. Someone found several street signs on Blanchard Lake Road.

3:55 p.m. Reports of a cow in the middle of Trumble Creek Road turned out to be unfounded. The responding officer noted that all cows in the area were securely behind a fence.

4:00 p.m. A chainsaw was stolen from North Wakewood Drive.

5:37 p.m. An ex-employee of a local auto dealership became upset and caused a disturbance when he was fired. He evidently did not want to return the business keys.

6:58 p.m. A 14-year-old girl threatened to kill her mother on South Woodland Drive.

7:03 p.m. A boyfriend and girlfriend argued in Whitefish. The male party left the scene, prompting authorities to go look for him.

7:14 p.m. A 15-year-old threatened his 16-year-old brother with a knife. Deputies calmed the youth and escorted him to the detention center.

7:23 p.m. A 17-year-old and her mother argued in Columbia Falls. The daughter reportedly kicked a door at one point in the dispute.

7:36 p.m. A man on Highway 93 West invited several individuals to his home and couldn’t convince them to leave again.

8:28 p.m. A boyfriend and girlfriend pushed each other on Konley Drive.

11:37 p.m. A highly intoxicated individual at a Bigfork bar caused a disturbance when it was made clear that his advances toward a woman were unwelcome. The man retrieved a gun from his car, which the bartender quickly confiscated.

11:56 p.m. Someone reports that a grey box in the corner of their Parliament Drive property was displaying a red light. The red light is evidently not supposed to be on.

12:03 a.m. A structure burned for approximately 30 minutes on Eid Lane.
