Vann’s Closing Stores in Missoula, Hamilton

By Beacon Staff

MISSOULA – The company that acquired Vann’s electronics and appliance stores is closing its stores in Missoula and Hamilton and moving the company headquarters to Bozeman.

Vann’s Acquisition LLC Chief Executive Officer Greg Regelbrugge announced the closures Monday, saying a request by building owner and company founder Pete Vann that the new owners buy the buildings made it impossible to keep the stores open.

Regelbrugge tells the Missoulian the Hamilton store will close at the end of April and the Missoula store at the end of May after liquidation sales. A total of 15 employees will lose their jobs.

The company is still searching for another space in Kalispell. That building also is owned by Vann.

Vann’s Acquisition bought the company after it filed for bankruptcy. It also has stores in Billings and Bozeman.
