Shannon Sherwood was arrested Thursday after her boyfriend, Jason Skalsky pleaded guilty to felony theft for the Oct. 26 robbery of the Gold Dust Casino. Prosecutors are recommending a three-year probationary sentence.
Deputy Flathead County Attorney Caleb E. Simpson said Skalsky eventually told authorities that Sherwood came up with the idea for the robbery.
Skalsky used a toy gun during the robbery and was chased down by a casino patron in the parking lot, where officers recovered about $4,300 in cash. Skalsky fled and was arrested a short time later.
Sherwood faces charges of felony accountability to theft and felony theft by embezzlement.
