Video: Making Best of Preps
Flathead County's Top High School Athletes
We have chosen a football star from each Flathead County high school, along with a list of other deserving candidates, to feature in our second annual "Best of Preps: North Stars." On one night, all 13 prep athletes file into the Beacon offices to have their portraits made. This year, photographer Lido Vizzutti has produced a time-lapse video of the entire two-hour shoot, along with the final images.

We feature swimmers in our “Best of Preps: Winter” edition. High school swimming is a winter sport in Montana, but, as the above comment stated, these kids work year round. They certainly deserve to be recognized. Also, we have a swimming story coming up in next week’s Beacon.
