VIDEO: Sun Road Expected to Reopen Following Rock Slide
Road between Avalanche Creek and Logan Pass is closed
Crews in Glacier National Park continue to clear Going-to-the-Sun Road near Big Bend. On Tuesday about 12 mud and rock slides hit the area and two visitors suffered minor injuries. The road between Avalanche Creek to Logan Pass has been closed since.
Park officials are anticipating reopening the road by Thursday evening and the Avalanche Creek area remains very congested and visitors are encouraged to explore other areas.
