The City of Whitefish Parks and Recreation Department is accepting scholarship applications for the 2014 Stumptown Summer Day Camp.
“We have another great summer planned for your child, one that creates a safe, supervised, and fun environment that fosters healthy, active lifestyles through daily physical activity and educational/enrichment opportunities,” said Maria Butts, recreation coordinator for the parks and recreation department.
Registration for the Stumptown Summer Day Camp begins April 1. Space is limited, and field trips as reserved on a first come, first serve basis.
The program is staffed on a 1:8 staff-child ratio. The camp will run from 7:30 a.m. to 5:30 p.m., Monday-Friday, from June 16-Aug. 15 at the Whitefish Middle School.
The deadline for submission is March 14. Applications can be picked up at the Parks and Recreation Office, 510 Railway Street in Whitefish or can be found at the city’s website. Scholarships are limited. For more information, contact the Whitefish Parks and Recreation Department at 863-2470.
