Whitefish Woman Denies Charges in Husband’s Stabbing
Annmari Newton pleaded not guilty to assault with a weapon during a District Court hearing
A Whitefish woman has denied charges filed after her husband was stabbed in the chest on Nov. 25.

KTMF-TV reports 39-year-old Annmari Newton pleaded not guilty to assault with a weapon during a District Court hearing on Thursday. She remains in the Flathead County jail.

Chad Newton underwent emergency surgery at Kalispell Regional Medical Center and continues to recover from his injuries.

Court records say the couple's two young children were at home at the time of the stabbing.

Just this morning, reading a story in the Inter Lake’s web site….the whole story comes to light. Seems this good looking attractive lady/mother had a “wacko/nightmare” of a male for a husband. He seems to have a screw loose and maybe she had reason to fear…
