Dog Theft

7:50 a.m. A Lakeside man reported that another man called and yelled at him about fraudulent checks. He has no idea what the other guy was talking about.

8:32 a.m. A curious Columbia Falls woman reported that someone was camping on the river and wanted to know who it was.

9:19 a.m. A Kalispell resident reported that another man damaged his fence when he plowed snow into it three years ago. He added that when he recently confronted the man about the damage, instead of apologizing, he told him that he was going to do it again this year.

9:29 a.m. A Granite View Drive resident caught a puppy and put it in their backyard. An animal warden picked it up and took it to the animal shelter.

11:18 a.m. A Martin City man reported that a woman had been in his house and attempted to burn it down.

1:54 p.m. Someone called from a local pawn shop to report that an intoxicated man came in and pointed the gun he planned to pawn at another man’s face. He then left the shop and drove off.

1:58 p.m. A woman on Amatasia Lane claimed that someone broke into her house and stole her computer.

2:34 p.m. A construction worker complained that an annoying little dog was at the building site yipping.

3:28 p.m. A woman on Cynthia Drive reported that her dog-sitter stole her dog.

5:44 p.m. A local man reported that was attacked by his ex-girlfriend and one of her friends. He suffered one black eye.

6:31 p.m. A conversation between a man and a woman about Miley Cyrus and Britney Spears was overheard during accidental phone call to 911.
