Woman Killed in Evergreen Shooting Identified
Evergreen Shooting
A 47-year-old Kalispell man has been charged with deliberate homicide in the weekend shooting death of a neighbor.

Flathead County Sheriff Mike Meehan says 42-year-old Michele Miller died shortly after arriving at Kalispell Regional Medical Center late Friday.

Baron Foster was charged Monday and was expected to make an initial court appearance Monday afternoon.

Investigators say Miller was arguing with Foster, who was drinking. Officers say he picked up a 9 mm pistol and fired it twice. One bullet went through two neighboring apartments and was found in a third apartment, while the other hit Miller in the head.

Her body was taken to the state crime lab in Missoula for an autopsy.
