Worried Geese
Flathead County Sheriff's and Kalispell Police Reports

8:42 a.m. A resident on Lower Valley Drive reported that the neighbor has been harassing his wife's domesticated geese. Most recently the neighbor turned on some sort of siren, causing the geese to become "worried" and scatter.

10:44 a.m. A resident on Flathead Lake reported that the sail of a man’s “surf glider thing” had collapsed. He was helped to shore.

10:48 a.m. An injured great dane was spotted on Klondyke Loop in Somers.

11:43 a.m. A Columbia Falls man reported that his neighbor cut down his fence while he was in Alaska.

3:24 p.m. Someone found a bunch of dead birds in some garbage on Fourth Street West.

4:19 p.m. A mom was concerned about her 8-year-old boy who was bullied at school.

4:48 p.m. A Southside Drive resident reported that a “homely” man shows up around 4:30 p.m. every day to ask if he can cut the resident's trees down.

5:06 p.m. A woman walked out of a Kalispell store to find the headlight of her vehicle hanging down to the ground and her bumper barely attached.

6:35 p.m. An intoxicated man fell face first onto the floor.

6:50 p.m. Someone witnessed a man with a machete waving at kids on Smith Lake Road.

8:44 p.m. A toddler was heard singing a happy song during an accidental phone call to 911.

11:46 p.m. A woman on Eighth Avenue West reported that her drunken boyfriend, who was wearing a trench coat and a McDonald’s hat, was outside wandering around her house.

2:34 a.m. Someone called 911 to report that a dog on Woodland Drive was howling.

4:48 a.m. A newspaper delivery person reportedly chased an agitated bear down Seventh Avenue West.
