My neither will be on unemployment for 1 yr this month. Has not bothered to look for a job.  He just recently started retraining & will continue to collect until summer of next year. He is not considering a job in the area he is being retrained for. Just wanted to learn how to drive heavy equipment.  He makes more money on unemployment than I do working full time

Tier III Unemployment Benefits are only available for those who have or will have exhausted their benefits by 12/31/09.  What happens to those who, despite great efforts to find a job in their skill area, exhaust their benefits in early January?  Why isn’t there way for those who are unlucky enough to have a couple of weeks left after 12/31/09 to continue to receive funds and stay off of welfare and foodstamps?

The handwrighting has been on the wall for some time. If you missed the signs what more is there to say. Keep your head in the trough and I’m sure every thing will work out. This country is too great to fail and we will bounce back stronger than ever if we just have faith in your leaders. They have the best of intentions and your families are the most important thing on their agenda. Just give them a little more time. You might want to keep at least two weeks worth of food in the cupboard.
Good luck. For a little extra income there may be a reward for turning in your radical neighbors. Avoid the ramblings of the anti_govt. crowd. Keep the faith and our troubles will soon be over. Bail outs are on the way.
