If your argument is that armed guards would not make a school more safe then you are absolutlywrong. Do you realize there are 11 armed guards where President Obama sends his children to
school? In the case of columbine high school, one officer was sitting in his vehicle (in the
parking lot) and the other one was writting a speeding ticket (down the road) at the time of the
shooting… Niether “guard” was in any situation to protect anyone given their locations.

If the goal is to save just 1 person then we should get rid of our guns. Thats Biden and Obamas goal ? What ? these politicians are nuts.? Then we need to ban , peanuts, cars, knifes, Mountains
or sports etc etc etc. The goal should be get the crazys and bad guys from getting all weapons.
More children died from dynamite than any other event. Gasoline is 2nd on the list of the most
people died from a crazy person. Or 200 million at the hands of there own Goverments.
Get the good guys trained and abile to protect our children, society in general. Or wait 20 minutes
for the good guys to show-up and they are all dead. Its lunisy to take the good guys guns from
them.
Your a educator, training is free at most training facilitys like Front Sight. Get trained get armed
you might be abile to save just 1 person or 26.
Like Biden said. Just think he could be our next President.
Vote the nut balls out, knee jerk oportunists who have to be totally void of any common sense.

The Flathead County sheriff just announced that there are 4,665 concealed weapons permits issued in the county. If the goal is to save just one person then perhaps it’s time to arm all of our citizens that
are trained in the use of firearms, starting with our public school teachers.

Nice thoughts by the author but a government that can license and register guns can also drive the costs and requirements of maintaining firearms to discourage ownership and that
has happened in many other parts of the country and thats the plan now..Obamas hometown
chicago just passed a $25 tax on every gun bought in cook county for that reason If your own
kids are going to kill you there is no defense. The day every firearm owner and every firearm is
registered will be the day our rights to own will slowly disappear. Meanwhile the gangs and
potential bad guys will be off the radar as they are now. Not far off will be liability insurance for
gunowners and manufacturers to furthur discourage gun ownership and a lawyers bonanza.
Interesting a president who is anti firearm ownership has extended his secret service
protection to lifetime and most prominent anti gunners speaking out have armed bodygaurds
and law enforcement protection. We will have 911. We need to know why our society has gone
from a resonably safe one to the mass shootings and insecurity of our people who now feel
the need to protect themselves.

Golly, ya think there’s just a wee bit of a double standard there? “they” (the regime) want firearms to protect themselves and family. But, “they” don’t want us to have weapons for protection. How curious.
then too, we treasure the 2nd amendment and our Constitution. “They” want to ignore it or change it.
How curious is that?

The hard thing about many shootings..they planned it out before they leave home and when they get there they go into action…no delay. You would have to be a right place at the right
time..with in seconds of the attacker…not likely to happen. Plus if you arm the schools..they
will change their plans to School buses or something different. Parents of these kids get
signals ahead of time, and they either take no action..or say the kid is just a jerk. No easy
answer…
