It appears that the herald on NP 1506 is rotated a quarter turn counter-clockwise.  “Northern
Pacific” should be at the top, and “Railway” at the bottom.

On the other hand, I’ve seen a few photos of cars and truck trailers painted by the NP with the
same mistake, so thiss could be historically accurate.

Just spent Thanksgiving at Chici Hot Springs in their caboose. It was amazing. I think I’ll need to check the Inn out
for a comparison. Life’s so difficult in Montana.
