The “Conservationists” had no choice, they had to file another law suit…It is such a beautiful sight
when the flames dance from tree top to tree top…It is an “Environmentalist Art Form”, and what’s not
to like about the smell of burnt bunny’s in the morning?

You are giving them too much credit.  Keith Hammer just needed some more donations and
needed to get his stupid group in the news again.  Hoping some big fish donates to the cause.
Maybe his woodshop he just built was big enough, needs to build a bigger one.

Ever notice the enviro-wackos are living in nice homes, not tents?  driving nice cars, not pedaling bikes?
buying groceries, not growing their own?  Ever wonder why they waited until they got what they wanted
before starting to file lawsuits?  Ever wonder why they think that they can make use of resources but
others can’t?  and so it goes.

why would you assume all that moose?  Do you stalk them?  Is there a link somewhere that
reports on this?  Something besides fox or those silly remarks you continue to post.

I understand that most of them like Hammer are “trust-fund-baby’s” that have never had to actually earn
a living Moose…Take away the nipple and I’ll bet their attitude would change real fast…

Hammer is no trust fund baby.  He used to be just like every other redneck on foothill road.
Riding dirt bikes on the old Krause trail, utilizing the woods for good or bad.  He and his brother
and a couple other guys figured out one day how lucrative “saving the environment” can be.
He is just taking it too far.  From what I understand, he has never even set foot in the bob
marshall wilderness.  But grizzlies are his baby, he just saw this very good sale at the end of
the reservoir as another means to an end.  They had all the time in the world to comment and
bring up these issues, but see, they don’t make money on just submitting public comments.

I hope the FNF fights them, and shoves their lawsuits up their arse.  I am tired of seeing these
woods around here going to heck, gone to the bugs!!!  Anybody else notice how much more
brown the “swan view” is becoming year after year?  Thanks Keith!!!

Wow, some great, enlightening, fact-filled comments here from readers that are based on the
specific merits of the lawsuit and the specifics of these two logging projects sitting next to
the Bob Marshall Wilderness.  Oh wait, never mind….You boys must feel really powerful making
such sophmoric anonymous comments.

Also, I’d just like to point out that some of these anonymous comments appear to violate the
Flathead Beacon’s own comment policy as stated above. Hopefully the Beacon will take appropriate
actions.

I agree with Matthew Koehler about the substance of several comments about this story.  I
didn’t see any facts regarding the project specifics which tells me that the commentors either
have no facts to support their positions or can’t convey them effectively.

What is apparent is the reliance on personal attacks against individuals that are working to
protect natural resources for all Americans, now and in the future.  I appreciate their work.

Now, back to the “lively debate”.

Wow we get a little touchy when someone suggests there may be a bit of a profit motive in
environmental defense.

Bottom line is environmental groups replaced a healthy logging industry and forests with
diseased forests.  Do they defend their work because they think they improved the forests or do
they defend their work because it keeps 500.00/hr lawyers turning a profit?
I guess it depends on which side you butter your bread.  Personally I wish there weren’t so
many gullible people with a check book.  Their harder on the Flathead then the pine beetle.

That right there is funny.  I wish I could live in fantasyland too.

Protecting natural resources?  hahahahahaha.  Do you ever even go into the forest?
