Was there just a hint of a “whine” in your blog? Could it be that on this, the anniversary of the day you were born, you are starting to admit to feeling the impact of the passing years?
I still remember the lesson learned on that historic day: that no matter how short the labor, when a petite woman (your mother) gives birth to an eleven-pound baby (you certainly were a big one!), when asked about the ordeal the husband (that would be me) should probably keep his mouth shut or at least refrain from describing the birth process as a “piece of cake.”
