He is a disgrace to liberty. Vote the empty suit out.
By dsrobins on 11-16-09
The good news about this latest poll is that Rehberg ranks at the bottom. It must be all those bouts of drunkenness in Kazakhistan and here in Lakeside and Bigfork, coupled with his lemming-like obedience to the party of NO.

Health care bill…..here comes the good stuff: this bill includes
Page 50/section 152: The bill will provide insurance to all non-U.S. residents, even if they are here illegally.
Page 58 and 59: The government will have real-time access to an individual’s bank account and will have the authority to make electronic fund transfers from those accounts.
Page 65/section 164: The plan will be subsidized (by the government) for all union members, union retirees and for community organizations (such as the Association of Community Organizations for Reform Now - ACORN).
Page 203/line 14-15: The tax imposed under this section will not be treated as a tax. (How could anybody in their right mind come up with that?)
Page 241 and 253: Doctors will all be paid the same regardless of specialty, and the government will set all doctors’ fees.
Page 272. section 1145: Cancer hospital will ration care according to the patient’s age.
Page 317 and 321: The government will impose a prohibition on hospital expansion; however, communities may petition for an exception.
Page 425, line 4-12: The government mandates advance-care planning consultations. Those on Social Security will be required to attend an “end-of-life planning” seminar every five years.
Page 429, line 13-25: The government will specify which doctors can write an end-of-life order.”
The kicker: ” Finally, it is specifically stated this bill will not apply to members of Congress. Members of Congress are already exempt from the Social Security system and have a well-funded private plan that covers their retirement needs. If they were on our Social Security plan, I believe they would find a very quick “fix” to make the plan financially sound for the future.”
yep….were screwed

Teachers and the glut of civil service are also not on The s.s. retirement plan.

Stop spreading lies from a bogus chain e-mail, Joe in MT
http://www.factcheck.org/2009/08/twenty-six-lies-about-hr-3200/
For example:
Claim: Page 272: Cancer patients: welcome to the wonderful world of rationing!
False. This page merely calls for a study of whether a certain class of hospitals incur higher costs than some others for the cancer care they deliver. It also says the secretary of HHS “shall provide for an appropriate adjustment” in payments “to reflect those higher costs.” It’s hardly “rationing” to pay hospitals more to compensate for higher costs.

The situation regarding the fine is still unresolved according to this:
http://www.factcheck.org/2009/11/imprisoned-for-not-having-health-care/
quote} In the Senate, the Finance Committee’s health care bill was amended to nullify the possibility of jail time for not paying the penalty tax. It stipulates that in the case of nonpayment, “such taxpayer shall not be subject to any criminal prosecution or penalty with respect to such failure.” Instead, the Senate measure would allow the government to collect the tax by deducting it from any IRS tax-refund checks or other government payments. Should the full Senate approve that language, a House-Senate conference committee would have to wrestle with the question of whether or not a person who refuses to obtain coverage and refuses to pay the penalty can be charged with criminal tax evasion. {close quote

You’re spot on there Billy. That is precisely what the Bush/Cheney admin. engaged in with their concept of the unitary presidency. I’m not going to address the NWO claptrap. What the G No P inflicted upon this country from 2000-2008 is bad enough. For all the freedom and liberty, jingoistic patriotic chants from G No P voters, those voters succeeded in stripping away more individual rights in this country than any emperor could hope.

The New American CenturyIf you go to the site it goes to Wolfowitz w/ Reagan. Then with Baby Bush in 2000 brought a pearl harbor plan with him in 2000
By Billy on 11-20-09
We had Farmwives for Reagan in 1979. I followed Red Beckmans philosophy in Lewistown. They got him.Either you have a Constitition or you can let dictators like Cheny/Bush use it for toilet paper
Tell me why Obama Isn’t doing the hand on heart or a salute for the US flag when they stand for a flag ceremony.
Are his handlers trying to stir up the rednecks.
As far as Max Baucus; Do you think he got caught up with the East Coast lifestyle?
By JoeinMontana on 11-20-09
Hummmm….no comment from KN? I guess its ok to dis an emperor when he has an (R) behind his name….what about king Hussian? He is using the same document as toilet paper…

Well, Joe, I’m not breathlessly waiting to respond to you or anyone else, and certainly not on your schedule. I have my issues with the President, but this conversation is about Baucus. Try to stay on topic.
Billy: The President, without fail, puts his hand on his heart or salutes as appropriate.
Baucus is caught up in the lifestyle of the Beltway, money and power. He left MT behind some years ago.
By Kalispell Native on 11-20-09
I believe this is what you are refering to Billy. Second item from the bottom, specificly:http://www.factcheck.org/elections-2008/sliming_obama.html
By woody on 11-20-09
Not to get this blog back on track but a lot of the fall in the Baucus poll numbers are from Democrats who are sick and tired of baucus acting like a republican ..... ie a sellout to the corporate interests.
And Ron Paul bill to audit the Fed has finally gotten a winning vote - and surprise of surprise the rethugs have voted for it - after voting against it time and time again….and after realizing that the vote was going to pass…......
although I’d argue it’s because Alan Grayson in the House and Bernie Sanders in the Senate are pushing this. When it was just Ron Paul no one gave a damn. Especially the Republicans - the very same degenerates that defeated the Buy Ameica 1st clause in the bailouts.
The new Constitution of the rethugs(all of them) and the DLC part of the democratic party;
“ We the Corporations of the United States, in Order to form a more perfect marketplace, establish Profits, insure workforce instability, provide for the common defence of corporate handouts, promote the general Welfare of the Wealthy, and secure the Blessings of Greed to ourselves and our subsidiaries, do ordain and establish this Constitution for the United States of Corporations.
In Greed we Trust”
By Kalispell Native on 11-20-09
Are you going to be flip flopping between littlehawk12 and Truther?
By woody on 11-20-09
I’m all for corporations that play fair, don’t manipulate our congress in order to write themselves laws enacting barriers to entry in their marketplaces in order to create monopolies.
Even the republican president Teddy Rooseveldt railed against that.
For example up to 80% of all loans in America are underwritten by the 4 largest banks in the country. That’ not called “free market” or “free enterprise” - that’s called predatory oligarchy economics.
Especially when the Congress and all our elected officials are basically bought and paid for by the corporations - who have turned money into free speech whcih in turn has created unlimited and undue influence on our electoral system.
In common english - when money = free speech then those with the most money have the most say over the government - and those are the corporations. This country was founded on the principle that royalty and the big corporations(east india trading co) are NOT = to freedom and democracy.
And at the top of the predator list is
1. the banks and the fed ie wall street
2. the insurance companies - most states have less than 3 insurers controlling over 80% of the insurance market.
That is not a free and fair market.
By woody on 11-20-09

And by the way - - try writing your blog on your computer notepad or work program and then hit spell check before copying to the blog - people will take you more seriuosly when you spell a majority of your words correctly.
and if I can’t use a computer - then as a self proscribed libertarian you should quit using the school system (success!), the roads, the clean drinking water that comes out of the tap - etc etc etc
By wouldb1 on 11-20-09
mooseberry writes: “Again, what kind of American would write a law forcing people to buy a product (insurance), levy a fine if they did not buy that product, and then threaten jail if the fine was not paid? ”
How about car insurance big guy? Which Republican was in charge when that became law????
By dsrobins on 11-20-09
Ah, Montana. Where folks live in the woods with no roads. One wonders how they get in and out. They also describe themselves as Independants rather than independents and use phrases like vise versa when they mean vice versa. Of course, all the kids are home schooled. Our sympathy to the kids.

Thanks for the friendly hi littlehawk; I’m suprized at the “projected envy” for our lifestyle dsrobbins displays.

Littlehawk; I dont think anyone is being bad and getting the comments cut. The subject matter is to shallow to support much dialog before the subject is completely forgotten and the comments float like a leaf on a pond. The beacon needs to report on something that sets peoples teeth on edge. Like CIA Torture and Drug Running. Dynacorp and slavery in Bosnia. Bohemian grove and the worship of Molech and “mock sacrifice” A New American Century, George Galloway; Listen to this short speech by George Galloway MP at the War Crimes Conference & Exhibition that took place at the Putra World Trade Centre in Kuala Lumpur Malaysia on 28th October 2009 http://pakalert.wordpress.com/2009/11/07/the-evil-empire/
KN the pictures they show us have Obama not saluting while others are. I just wondered if they are goading the flag wrappers.
By Kalispell Native on 11-20-09
Billy: You’ll need to post a link to the photos your talking about. But, if I remember correctly the President is not required to hold a ceremonial salute (even as the CinC) like uniformed members of the military branches.
The flag wrappers are self-goading based on their own ignorance of ceremony and protocol. That, plus an unquenchable desire to find something, anything to complain about.
By Billy on 11-20-09
How did you like the George Galloway Speech KN?The video is halfway down the above links page.
By Billy on 11-20-09
Oh and yes KN the right wingers are lashing out at anything that moves and like a fury blinded bull they can be maneuvered by a skillful matador with a false flag/cape. Like the 9-11 attack or the sinking of the Maine and , well you know them as well as anyone. They are maneuvered right into the Induction line. I read the depression CCC workers lined right up for WWII when the time came.

Broaden your horizons. Look beyond, over the heads of the ignorant masses.
By Kalispell Native on 11-20-09
I see plenty of info contrary, and some in agreement to my thoughts, from the righty blogs. Listening to long speeches on my computer is not something I enjoy. So I don’t.
It doesn’t help that Mr. Galloway appeared on one of the mind-suckingly worthless Big Brother series, in a leotard, drinking from a bowl, like a cat. Something like that, I remember hearing the news report on it. See his wikipedia.com entry.
By Billy on 11-20-09
Oh well KN it’s your loss and Galloway is not a right wing bombs away type. He actually is for the downtrodden and victims of Imperialism.
By Kalispell Native on 11-21-09
And there, Billy, you have a good example of projection. littlehawk12/Truther (a flip-flopper) steps up again as a poster child for rightwingnuttia.
By Billy on 11-21-09
Kalispell Native;Do you mean the poster has

And it flip-flops?
I guess psychoanalysis just isn’t my forte’.
I don’t get it KN. Are you going to help us

Can you feel it yet?
By Kalispell Native on 11-21-09
No. He has 2 known identities. He has flip-flopped backed to his first one (littlehawk12) from his second one (Truther) so I am needling him for his inconsistency.
Billy: When you let your little engine go around the bend with the (losing touch with reality) NWO crap, you lose me. You keep marching down the path, I’ll wait here.
By Roark on 11-21-09
The MTGOP is pathetic. They are currently infested with RINO’s. If they want to beat comrade Baucus in his next election, which shouldn’t be hard at all, they need a candidate with an unwavering dedication to laissez-faire capitalism, reason, and liberty. You know, INTEGRITY and a commitment to defending viable values.
By Billy on 11-21-09
Dog on it. I thought we had a majority.

By Roark on 11-22-09
Baucus really ought to re-read the US Constitution and the Declaration of Independence. Also I would recommend the read; Ayn Rand, George Reisman, John Locke, Adam Smith, Ludwig von Mises, etc. From looking at Baucus’ voting record it’s blatantly obvious that he does not believe in freedom or liberty, but he does very much stand behind statism. Sad, you would think that Montana would have leaders who would secure the blessings of liberty and not destroy them.
By woody on 11-22-09
Once again Roark has missed the truth thru his corporation deserve to rule the world garbage….
bauscus is only protecting the large corporations ability to profit off WE THE PEOPLE thru his socalled statism.
Statism ONLY exists to turn a profit for big business.
And those of you wanting to defeat Baucus in the next election….... he doesn’t run again until 2014…. at which time he’ll be well into his 70’s…. he’s going to retire….. he’s doing his quid quo pro right now…...
as schweitzer will be term limited out of the governors office after this term look for Schweitzer to knock off Rehberg-the drunk in 2012 if rehberg makes it thru the 20101 elections….
and then Schweitzer will take over the baucus seat -
By woody on 11-22-09
and the cap and trade issue:
you rightwingnuts blew up half the middle east in your war on terrorism that killed 3,000 but faced with a problem that could wipe life off the planet you want to sit on your hands and do NOTHING.
Except protect the profits of the very few - 1/2 of 1% of the population causing all this misery.
the ONLY scientists that don’t believe in global warming are the ones that are paid by the corporations to think that….
Your denial of Global Warming is the EXACT SAME as Hannity when he says, “if those are the facts I just can’t accept them”
these corporations would blow up the world for a short term buck…...
as they are blowing up the US economy for the short term buck…..just ask cheney - his response wehn asked about the US dollar- “I already divested myself from the US dollar so I don’t care”
While democrats following the DLC are a bunch of corporate hacks the republicans are simply unpatriotic and UNAMERICAN in their race to destroy the middle class for the short term buck…..
Either you are greedy and ignorant or you’re one of those freaky Christians that WANT to blow up the planet in order to bring about armageddeon…..
believe it or not but the earth is NOT 6,000 years old, humans did NOT walk the earth with dinosauers and the earth is NOT flat.

A matriarchy would be more peaceful. Maybe nature has a way of self regulation. One warning that I feel was a good one where the Bible says “get out of her’ refering to Babylon. Which seems to me to be the economic system of the world and symbolized in a World Trade Center. The ones that didn’t get out were destroyed. I and others prefer to stay away from the crowds in cities and skycrapers and subway stations and airports. What men build up eventually falls.
By Kalispell Native on 11-22-09

By Kalispell Native on 11-22-09
I think it is Baucus that keeps his staff busy keeping him informed. That’s usually the way organizational charts are implemented. Problem is, he seems to ignore his staff telling what his constituents think and pays attention to big pharma’s lobbyists instead. His style is like your question, bass ackwards.
By Billy on 11-22-09

KN;The Beacon moderator is sleeping any way. In any case maybe there will be an article on the Federal Reserve bank audit coming up and we can talk about the bankers then.
I haven’t seen any discussion on the rash of incest and family prostitution and pedophile murder yet. That subject is where the ugly laundry needs aired. People have been polluted. Will the cause of this perversion be revealed? This is a culrural history lesson. The perversion goes along with the fall of the Nation.

Start your own blog, then. Have you read that paragraph at the top of this column lately?
“...but we will delete comments that attack other readers, make accusations we can’t verify, stray too far off topic…”
You don’t get to chose the topics for discussion. Don’t like it, tough. Go join your pals at kjzm’s website.

Kalispell Native made this accusation,“When are you gonna move to Montana, Roark (Ayn Rand’s rapist character)?”
Then he has the gall to say this:
,” Have you read that paragraph at the top of this column lately?——-“...but we will delete comments that attack other readers, make accusations we can’t verify, stray too far off topic…“
By Kalispell Native on 11-22-09
what accusation? I asked a question. Your residency is quite unclear. Do you live on the east coast as you implied a long time ago? Or do you live in Utah as your profile on an Objectivist site states? Or do you live in Montana?
And I pointed out how Roark was described in Ayn Rand’s book.
So your point then is what?
By dsrobins on 11-23-09
I haven’t been following all this drivel very closely, and I’m rather mystified about how Hutterite turkery production got into the series of comments. Nevertheless, a few things a clear. Baucus is a Montana rancher. Jon Tester is one too. So is Denny Rehberg, our sole Congressman, whose career may have crashed on the rocks of Flathead Lake near here last August, although we’ll have to wait a while to see. What is also clear to anyone who has lived here in Montana for quite a while is that all the ranchers, farmers and Congressmen hate the Hutterites because they are a communal rather than a family group, and they produce far finer products than our wealthy farmers, ranchers and Congressional delegates do. You only have to live, or better yet, grow up on the Hi-Line, as I did, to recognize the hatred these local farmers and ranchers hold for the Hutterites. It’s shameful, but it’s a fact of life in Montana, and it’s not easy to determine whether these same farmers and ranchers hate the Hutterites or the Native Americans more. So there will be a shortage of turkeys this Thanksgiving. Don’t blame the Hutterites, blame the big out-of-state turkey farmers and corporations who also cut back drastically on production. Nevertheless, if you are lucky enough to find a Hutterite turkey in the next few days, by all means buy it. It’s the best turkey you’ll ever eat in your life.
By Darwin26 on 11-23-09
dsrobins, thank you for this insight. i’m here in Billings about 5 years now and always enjoy the Farmers Mkt and the ‘flavor’ of the Hutterite colony AG products… i know of the disdane the MT WASP’s have for the Indian people but did not know about the animositiy the MT AG ppl have for the Hutterite Agrarian life. The best we can hope for is it’s Tester’s Baucus and Rehbergs last term. All 3 are Terrible for everyone but themselves.
