As an 85 year young citizen of Helena I always feel an honor to vote for the President of the United States - and until a few days ago was undecided -
Visited family in Portland and had the opportunity to hear both Senators at a rally and have the following comments
Seanator Obama is a great orator and can move a crowd like a rock star or so it seemed to the younger first time voters - his key words of Hope and Change - stirred an applause - however at the end of the day when I got home and recalled what he spoke about I came up with NOTHING - change - how are YOU going to change Washington politics - especially since you accept the endorsements of Washington politicans - it doesn’t come for free - and I personally thought that he was already into the general election mode ignoring the rest of the primaries including MY MONTANA - sorry you do not dismiss my vote - and certainly do not take it for granted - you have to work for it.
HOPE - well that word meant that Bill Clinton and Brad Pitt went to New Orleans to give that city Hope for reconstruction - Hillary Clinton attended a rally later on for the same purpose even though she had not received their votes - Obama was too busy with his campaign to attend - guess he got what he wanted and that was that - just another Washington politican.
Senator Clinton was WARM, passionate, sincere, and had solid solutions to all our questions asked of her from the economy, family owned farms, student loans and healthcare for all - just a few on her list. The media has already declared their President - but again I am from Montana I make my own choice -big brother and my choice is for Hillary R. Clinton.
I feel that Senator Clinton is the only experienced candidate with the fight, the vision, the plans and the ability to lead us forward into the future. I can only pray that my fellow citizens from Montana - polls showing Obama in the lead - will give her the popular vote so that she can go to the convention and help us help ourselves - we do not want a hand out - just a fair start for the future.
Finally the Pastor, the Church, The Wedding and The Baptisms and you are unaware of that persons viewpoints after 20 years - I do not want someone in the White House that just might be unaware of Iran, Russia, China or North Korea let alone the company kept with the likes of Rezko, Ayers and Pastor Wright THAT WE KNOW ABOUT NOW.
GOD BLESS OUR AMERICA and help Senator Clinton especially Kalispell

Clinton won Montana because Perot was the third party candidate and took 30 some per cent of the vote.
