A beautiful young man - son, father, brother, husband, child of God.  Due a ridiculously senseless accident he is gone.  Please pray for his family members as they struggle to mend their hearts.  The Haynes family is an incredible group of people.

What a tragedy!  And the public needs to say STOP!  I dont knwo about this specific accident.  But I know Flathead is big time BAD for allowing OF-AGE-CHRONIC DRUNK DRIVERS to be overserved waaaay past where they are seen by everyone in the establishement as being “obviously” intoxicated.  LOTS of people would be alive today if STING operations included PROSECUTING establishments WE ALL SEE serving people known to be chronic DUI offenders who are “obviously drunk” - that everyone knows is going to someday kill someone.

This is so tragic. My heartfelt sympathy and prayers goes out to the families. Another life taken this past week. Instead of all the hurtful words being flung around on these postings, how about some words of kindness. Isn’t this what were always advertising about “The Last Best Place” not the last resting place.

Words cannot express the sadness I have for the families, friends, and fellow officers of these men.  I could not imagine the grief they are feeling.  I hope and pray you find comfort in each others arms. Thank you for making the ultimate sacrifice to keep our community safe.  God certainly has a special place for you in Heaven.

Alcohol has claimed another innocent and productive life!  When will stricter enforcement and punishment be dealt to those who choose to drink and drive!  The man who head on killed this officer was drinking until late that night at the bowling alley north of Bigfork.  Punish the bar who sold him the boos and let him out the door drunk!

KILL DRUNK DRIVERS ON SIGHT!!

So sad! May he rest in piece and his family be with our prayers.

Other sad thing about his death was that he was the trooper who investigated the horrible accident where the 35 year old pregnant woman and her son died.

So tragic!

My heart goes out to the family and friends of Trooper Haynes.  My thoughts are with all the Montana Troopers and their families.  My husband is a Texas State Trooper and is on his way today to attend the funeral tomorrow on behalf of the State of Texas.  When any law enforcement officer dies while in service, it affects us all. Please know, Montana, Texas is thinking of and praying for you.  Your sacrifice transcends state borders and will be remembered.
Mrs. Haynes:  As a fellow Trooper’s wife, please know you and your children are in my thoughts and prayers.

Hey judges - when are you going to start putting these drunk drivers away instead of pleading them down to reckless???  When you have 2 defense attorneys as judges, they are more concerned with protecting the criminals than the innocent.  Is it true they won’t accept a guilty plea for drunk drivers? is it true they tell them to see an attorney before accepting a guilty plea? It’s time to put these people away.
