Dear Sir,
Your story on the Guideon.org camp for children that have lost their parents is really touching, I received the e-mail this morning forwarded by a friend who was up in Montana putting out forest fires by air drops.
Our unit is getting deployed to Iraq this fall. We have been deployed so many times and have lost many friends to this war that are forever lost to their children. As a father myself, I can’t imagine my daughters growing up without me and difficulty it would be raising them in a single parent home without a father involved in their lives. Children that grow up without fathers are more likely to get into drugs and become pregnant in their teens.
I am glad their is some one like Jame Clark guiding and looking out for our children. Every day I am deployed I don’t know if I am going to come or not. At least your guideon.org will help my children if I were to die.
