That is a load of bull.  It really amazes me sometimes what extent a public official will go.  There are a number of banks in Montana that are overextended in the credit department with almost no liquidity.

Everything is fine.  Do not panic.  We have everything under control.  Your money is safe.  Pay no attention to the man behind the curtain!

What did you expect them to say?  “Hey your money is not safe here, we loaned it out at 9 to 1 and, well you should come get it before the runs start”. 

I pulled 100% of my money out of the banks and only leave in what I need for day to day operations. 

I did that last year when this all started. 

The dollar is going to #%@! people.
