And how do you suppose it should be handled then?

Everyone is so quick to complain about paying taxes for things like police and such, but something tells me as soon as you need one of these services provided by that money (fire dept, police dept, etc),  you’ll sing a different tune.

There is no abuse of money whatsoever here… so get off it and quit trying to stir the pot.  Be thankful that there are people out there willing to die for strangers just so you can walk down the street without worry.  Move to Mexico and tell me how things are there…

Sadly these paramilitary groups are being used against relatively innocuous non violent offenders—like the ‘war on drugs’. For anyone interested read Radley Balko’s ‘Overkill’ available online. A long read and a real shocker!
