Comments on: Deer Rankings Rigged?
Let’s be civil.
The Flathead Beacon encourages vigorous discussion and lively debate, but we will delete comments that attack other readers, make accusations we can’t verify, stray too far off topic, criticize local businesses (call them if you have a problem), convict someone of a crime, use profanity or are simply judged to be in bad taste. We don’t always have someone moderating comments, so we ask for your help: If you see a comment that violates these ground rules, or you simply deem it offensive, please e-mail webmaster [at] flatheadbeacon.com.

The deer are all Marxists! So are the drivers who hit them! And so are the people doing the polls!

When you read the results of a poll the first thing you need to think about is who gathered the information, in this case an insurance company. So those of us who get into a fender bender with Bambi and opt to take care of it out of our own pockets, rather than letting our insurance company raise our rates, would not show up on their poll. I need more than my fingers and toes to count the number of people I know who did not report hitting a deer to their insurance. Shoot, I was in the car when we were hit by a MOOSE and we didn’t claim that!
