Dennis McDonald is right. Both Rehberg and Barkus do owe a public apology to their constituents here in Montana and the valley, but don’t try holding your breath until it happens. They were the two male adults on the boat, but they were behaving like teenagers. The result was bad, almost tragic. Of course, both Rehberg and Barkus were injured… and well insured… but they left Rehberg’s two staff aides far more seriously injured. Fortunately, both are recovering apparently satisfactorily, but it will take months, perhaps even years, to determine whether Dustin Frost has suffered a disabling brain injury. We hope not, but we remain appalled that neither Rehberg nor Barkus has yet to utter the words “we’re sorry.” Nor have either of them… both very wealthy men… said that the staff aides’ injuries will be fully covered. Rehberg, had the gall to say he had ask Congressional administrative officials if Workmen’s Compensation might help, but claimed he’d had no response. Nor has there been any since. The staff aides were there because they had to be there to perform the dogsbody work for their boss; fetch the drinks, empty the ashtrays, make sure nobody left their hats or cell phones on the tables. In sum, this is not a pretty picture, nor is it likely to get any prettier anytime soon. It’s time for us all to ponder if we really want people like this representing us in Helena and Washington.

Then you add in unsubstantiated ascertains of black ops and Gitmo prisoners coupled with another laundry list of groups of people who will be arrested, yadda yadda yadda.

I beg to differ, go to the Billings MT. local news channel KURL 8 ( read their reporters articles, and watch their videos), read the locals in Hardin blogs that are in the comment section for KURLs videos, go to MSNBC. Not rumors, they are there, and the government is claiming that they are not working for them ! But there are areas that are being covered by rumors amongst the people because these AFP are slippery, sneaky, and refuse to answer some very IMPORTANT questions….. “Government contract databases show no record of the company. Security industry representatives and federal officials said they had never heard of it. On its Web site, the company lists as its headquarters a building in Washington near the White House that holds “virtual offices.” A spokeswoman for the building said American Police Force never completed its application to use the address.”
“And it’s unclear where the company will get the inmates for the jail. Montana says it’s not sending inmates to the jail, and neither are federal officials in the state.”
“However, an Associated Press search of two comprehensive federal government contractor databases turned up no record of American Police Force.”
“Where the prisoners would come from is unclear. City officials said California was the most likely possibility, but a spokesman for that state’s corrections system said there was no truth to the claim.
Federal prisoners also were mentioned by both American Police Force and the city. U.S. Marshal Dwight MacKay in Billings said he would have been notified if such a plan was pending.
“There’s skepticism over whether this is a real thing,” MacKay said.”
