Dems who vote for this will be toast in the next elections, including you Jon! We will remember for 3 years, I will make sure we do. MacDonald said he “would hold his nose” and vote for it. So we know what an idiot he would be.

People keep saying the mental disorder thing. Some noted liberals in our history would include nearly every one of our founders and most of our Presidents up until the last century. That includes Abe Lincoln, FDR and Harry Truman. By the way, they accused both FDR & Truman of being liberal socialists during their presidencies. Note that FDR is credited with rescuing our nation from the Great Depression.

truthorcon said: Since it is a well documented fact that “liberalism is a mental dissorder,“
Show me one solid example of this “well documented fact”.
And Michael (nee Weiner) Savage doesn’t count.

Oh and Truthorcon, while you’re looking try to find out what Freud meant by ‘A box of cigars’.

truthorcon - Are you touting WWII as a government sponsored program responsible for fixing our economy? Weird. So your saying that the government going on a spending spree to construct and manufacture product and infrastructure can actually bring a country’s economy out of an economic recession? But I thought this spending led to the largest deficit this country has ever seen, even worse than right now? Oh yeah, thats true. I didn’t realize you were such a fan of stimulous-type legislative policies. What a liberal you are.

It is quite clear that liberals have a mental disorder. Listen to Mike Savage and you’ll fit right in there. Mike Savage is right on the money. GOvt health care will not work. Native, you’re kidding yourself if you don’t think this is a govt ran system. Truth hurts doesn’t it. By the way Savage was against GWB.

Deem and Pass has Supreme court precedent goingback to 1892. http://openjurist.org/143/us/649 ‘Field v Clark’
http://www.congressmatters.com/storyonly/2010/3/19/12262/4891 has a nice, easy-to-understand explanation.
The G No P used it more than 30 times when they controlled the House in 2005-06.
But, it’s a moot point now because the House just decided not to use that allowable House Rule. It’ll get passed the old-fashioned way. <grin>
