Comments on: Doggie-Doo Unto Others…

By Let's be serious on 03-22-08

I believe that the bigger problem is up at the Big Mountain where the lifts close earlier that promised, where there’s little food for our guests to purchase, where the lift maintenance is so poor that guests must point out potential lift derailments to the ski patrol, where alcohol is readily available and the abuse of alcohol is rampant, where the employees cannot earn a living wage so they’re holed up in crappy dwellings 5 to a room, where the employees must visit the community food bank just to survive.

You won’t see any of this in the Beacon, now that they have a nice advertising contract with the “Whitefish Mountain Resort.

Bill Foley, lets see you make a contribution to the food bank to replace the supplies that your foreign employees were graciously given.

This community is tired of your rich dude attitude and your constant micro-management.

No, let’s make the wealthy jerks that rip off the foreign help pay for something.  What on earth makes you believe that we must feed the help up at the Big Mountain?

Get a real brain a-hole.

On the subject - not off like so many - yea, I don’t have pets and I am tired of picking up the dog dropping on the sidewalk and parkway.  People need to have some consideration for others and clean it up.

At $300 a pop I bet the city could hire an extra person to patrol the walking trail and the rest of the city.  That would mean that if they paid this person $12 an hour, that’s about $100 a day, so they’d only have to write 1 ticket every 3 days to cover their salary… seems like an idea to me.  Then once the dog-owners understand that they’re not joking, people will begin to clean up after their dogs.
