There’s hope! I think most Montanans are tired of seeing the same offenders returning again and again - fifth DUI, sixth DUI, seventh - and feeling hopeless that anything will change. It’s evident by now that repeating the same arrest-and-release cycle does not change the behaviors of the most dangerous drivers who most need management. All it does is drain resources in the system and cost taxpayers wasted money.

It looks like this program is building a good track record. Congratulations to Judge Ulbricht for having the insight to try something new and congratulations to the graduates who are committed to reforming their lives.
