Its still escapes me HOW the connection to kids from Russia & rural Eureka has developed and
how the $$ to support & help the kids happens??? I could understand it better if, say the kids
came from Denver or Seattle….but…...Russia ???

I believe the $$ support comes from the kids’ adopted families and it is NOT cheap but most
families with problem adopted (and often foreign) children are desperate to do anything to get
help for and with those kids.  As a member of a huge blended family with many adopted kids
from many countries, i can totally relate to many of the problems that come out of foreign
adoptions, one of which is so often fetal alcohol problems.  Anyway, I don’t believe Russia itself
has anything to do with these particular kids and the $$..... only where they were born…. and
that RUssia is apparently following up on some of the adoptees…. and it involves this facility
because they are known for dealing with many of these type kids with these type
problems…....  that’s my understanding anyway ...... :}
