Comments on: Fisher Ready to Get to Work as New Kalispell Mayor

Let’s be civil. The Flathead Beacon encourages vigorous discussion and lively debate, but we will delete comments that attack other readers, make accusations we can’t verify, stray too far off topic, criticize local businesses (call them if you have a problem), convict someone of a crime, use profanity or are simply judged to be in bad taste. We don’t always have someone moderating comments, so we ask for your help: If you see a comment that violates these ground rules, or you simply deem it offensive, please e-mail editor [at] flatheadbeacon.com. No, Pam, it’s not just the national economy, it’s failure on your watch.  Thank you for your service, but I think it’s time for a change.

Exactly, Willy. The result of this election was not caused by some national backlash. It was dissatisfaction with the mayor’s performance, pure and simple.

Congratulations, Tammi. Make us proud.

Congrats to Tammi!  And Zaunder.  and Mr Atkinson - only 48 vote margin?  You need to pay attention to that. Flathead HS - you just got tons of money ans wasted quite a bit of it. So you don’t get more now.  Dear Pam - I don’t blame you for the national economy - but the local economy took a big hit under your watch. Sidewalks need fixing all around town but you blow money on green sidewalks on a few downtown blocks. You overspent on the new City Hall that the City doesn’t even own. The airport issue - and so many more that the taxpayers have been let down and now it is time to change things.

What does it remind you of pussycat?
Back in the Fifty’s and Sixties the bars were a place to discuss politics, arrange business deals and drink a few beers with the neighbors. They were a lot quieter and the traffic was a lot lighter. These days we leave politics and business to the professionals. They just send us the bill.
Good Wishes Tammi.

...Why don’t any men run for Mayor in Kalispell? Now if only those on welfare in the Flathead can be taught personal responibility and hard work as opposed to their entitlment mentality, then we could actually get some tax cuts and smaller more effecient government at work here.

Roark; Did you see the Makow piece on creating slaves?
The results of the training are very telling.
The unemployment checks are re-extended I think.

Tammi; Let us know if you see any criminal enterprise working the City Government.

Alex Jones says Tyranny is when criminal enterprise moves in and takes control of your government and starts robbing the people.
