Just to be clear… we invite all Montana vets, homeless or not , to participate in the stand down in Libby. The article infers that the 2000 vets participating in the Libby stand down are all homeless. The stand down is a great way for all local vets to reconnect and review services that are available to them. In addition soon we will have a VA Clinic in Libby to support our local vets.

Libbybob, I also read the article to mean that 2,000 vets would be looking for a meal and a hot shower. Anyway, God bless you all.

Thank you Myers Reese for the most wonderful story I have read in a long time. Linda Erickson is a wonderful wife and Mr. Erickson is a real man . They inspire and illuminate. I heard about the food pantry from Veterans at the cry in the wilderness rally. It fills my heart to know the people of Flathead County are such givers and the Veterans are able to survive the Montana winters with a little help from their friends. It’s a shame, the manpower and wisdom wasted because they didn’t find a place to fit . I have not met Mr. Erickson yet but I will take the chaplains’ advice to go shake his hand.I can’t describe the photographs. They moved me. Thanks Lido Vizzuti. Thanks Sam.
