Mick is a native Montanan who has proven his leadership with quiet and unassuming way.  He is a hard worker who will represent the people of Columbia Falls well in the Montana Legislature.

A National Park government employee running as a Democrat!-who would have ever thought! I don’t want my leaders representing mob rule, I want my elected leaders to protect the principles of liberty and freedom of the individual.

Damn, roark!  Thick again, as usual.  Mick is retired.  A private citizen.  Ayn Rand, your heroine, was perhaps an intellectual.  You, not so much.

It is entirely irrelevant if he is retired, he’s a big government liberal!

So, Roark, you know exactly where a man stands and precisely how liberal he is just by nothing more than the R or D that follows his name on a ballot?  I’ll have you know that Mick has great support from Democrats and Republicans alike, but it’s good to know that you’re interested in real issues and are above the immature partisanship that has dragged this once great nation into the sewer.  Keep fighting the good fight though—the rest of us will try and clean up after you’re done.

Mick was born in Eastern Montana and has spent his life managing and protecting some of America’s most treasured landscapes:  our National Parks.

Where were you born Roark?  And let me guess:  you think Glacier should be sold to the highest bidder because it is public land.

Talk about out of touch.

Mick is known for his work with the National Park Service but I think its important to note that he is an informed participant in many other social and economic areas of our community.  He has shown particularly strong support for our schools and educators.  Because his family has a background in the teaching profession, he understands the importance of students receiving a quality education but also the struggles of working in an overtly underpaid field. I think its important to have someone in office that is going to fight for our schools abd our economy.
