This is archaic and barbaric. Lingering death, as a foot is painfully held in metal jaws. I’m noliberal city boy but this is a cruel way to kill random animals. Where’s “fair chase?” Trappers
are just too lazy to hunt. They kill whatever finds their way into a trap. Many animals that are
or should be protected are slowly and painfully killed and then secretly disposed of.
These needs to be stopped.

Again, I will remind you that this is BIG BUSINESS! That’s why there are 4000 trappers in this state! The MTFWP (think about what that stands for!) are making BIG MONEY from ranchers
and trappers. The fraud in this industry (right up to John Tester) is unbelievable…where do you
think all his campaign money came from! They DO NOT CARE what happens to these
animals or your pets. This will continue until the animals are gone…it is UP TO YOU
MONTANA TO STOP THE SLAUGHTER!!! And by the way…this article is a JOKE…we, the
PUBLIC should be allowed to walk ANYWHERE on public lands without fear for ourselves or
our animals from human barbarians!!!
