Sure, let’s pave that gorgeous forest….NOT!  Along Hwy 2 there are numerous large grassy spaces
that could easily be leased and set up as temporary parking for those 2-3 months the additional
parking is needed.  Use a shuttle bus running regularly (every 15-30 minutes) between the
temporary parking lot and the transit center. Could even lease several smaller parcels and put the
shuttle on a circuit.  For 2-3 months it just doesn’t make sense to run chainsaws and bulldozers to
install permanent and costly parking inside the park.. Keep the trees, ditch the asphalt purchases.
