I find it hard to believe that trying to protect Bull Trout in the Quartz Lake drainage will do anything for these trout or the recreational opportunities.  This plan is as ludicrous as poisoning some 22 lakes in the Bob Marshall to eliminate all the non native trout to protect the West Slope Cutthroat Trout.  Therefore I favor the NO ACTION alternative. If you think netting certain species and not others, you must be dreaming.  If these Lake Trout you are trying to eliminate and you should possibly achieve this end;  what makes you think that these Lake Trout won’t find their way up stream to the Quartz Lakes in the coming decades.  What species have existed so far will probably continue to do so.  I do see where radio-tagging some fish to study their spawning areas could provide you with some good scientific information for future use..  You now have a good resource for fishing in these lakes and I feel it should continue this way until you have more scientific facts on the different populations of fish and better plans to procede with your objectives.

Thank you
